Professional Experience

Dr. Aleksey Shkurat earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Western Washington University, before going on to achieve his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry. After completing several internships at private and surgical eye health centers in Washington and Oregon, he entered the field as an optometrist who’s ready to care for patients with excellent primary eye care.

Dr. Shkurat is a compassionate optometrist who loves working with patients and building relationships with them over time. Though he was born in Ukraine, he has spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest. When he’s not caring for patients’ eyes, you can find him spending quality time with his family, enjoying the great outdoors, and working on cars!
